Well, we could tell you the basics: that Auggie Smith is a 14-year veteran of stand-up comedy stages who has won praise for his originality and energy. During Auggie's set, pop culture targets ranging from the Barbie Doll to celebrity game shows are dissected, piece by piece, into intelligently written, manic rants delivered in a seamless rapid-fire style. He has crafted an honest opinionated, innovative mix of politically incorrect mass appeal, sure to be remembered and guaranteed to entertain.
When Auggie turned 23 he won the Samuel Adams Comedy Competition, which included the prize of appearing on "An evening at the Improv", his initial introduction to national exposure. A few years later he was doing work on TV and radio commercials as a pitchman, selling his soul and convincing you to buy tacos and cable television. Then he was performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival where organizers included him in 3 different showcases: New Faces, Danger Zone and the Nasty Show.
