Valentine’s Day Show!

The “Battle of the Hands Peoples Choice Magic Competiton” moves to Sunday this week with a special Valentine’s Day show for the whole family!

Louisville is quickly becoming the new magic captital of the world. Louisvillians Lance Burton and Mac King each headline their own shows in Las Vegas and are considered the best acts in the business. Other local talents have won numerous awards throughout the country, and show producer Dennis Alm brings them to the “Battle” stage for a night you will never forget. Each show will leave you spellbound with wonder while lauging ’til your sides ache.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 14 up to a maximum of $25.

DON KREKEL ORCHESTRA
Monday, March 8th

For over half a century the 17-piece Don Krekel Orchestra has continued its tradition of playing Big Band Classics and celebrating the Great American Songbook.

The second Monday of every month the orchestra performs in the intimate surroundings of The Comedy Caravan. Each performance features special guests and maybe some surprises to delight audiences of all ages. Check out the video clip to see what’s in store for you.

The band hits promptly at 7:30, advance tickets are available now for the next show in the series. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. See you there.

MIXOLEGION

Five remarkable musicians from different countries, united through the U of L Jazz studies Graduate program.

Just like a ‘foreign legion,’ they bring a mix of styles as well as their backgrounds to the compositions and performances.

Mixolegion is formed by Anderson Pessoa, a saxophone player who has played all over Brazil, receiving honors for music composition; Saulo DeAlmeida, bass player who played violincello for the National Symphony Orchestra in Brazil; Daniel Falter, whose signature drum style was formed as a member of the West African Drum and Music Ensemble in South Carolina; and Kentuckian Craig Tweddell, who has played with the Temptations and was outstanding soloist at the 2004 and 2005 UofL Jazz Fests
