Wednesday, April 30

Hosted by Tony Yates with performances by Keith McGill, Lawrence Thomas & Will Hardesty
Doors open at 7 pm, show starts at 8 pm

Lawrence Thomas: An ex-rugby player from Louisville KY, his drinking and brawling ways were sidelined by marriage, and by the birth of his daughter. Lawrence’s brutal honesty about life and fatherhood, paint hilarious pictures of recognition for the more mature audience, and gut busting scenes of the perilous future for the young uninitiated. All age lines are transcended as the audience joins Lawrence in his never-ending battle to raise a child sanely, in a world that tries to sell thong underwear to nine year olds. Seeming like an old friend, Lawrence shares his frustrations, pain, and joyous triumphs, as the audience rolls in the isles.

In 1990 he was a house emcee at Zanies in Nashville, when Jeff Foxworthy told him to leave the security blanket of his job in the video business and, “go on the road”. Lawrence did and has never looked back.

Lawrence is a club favorite, and has appeared on A&E, Showtime, The Nashville Network, and Comedy Central, Fox’s Best Damn Sports Show, and has a recurring role on UPN’s Eve.
